Orange Beach
Two hulls provide stability for a smooth ride without leaning to one side. Come enjoy a two-hour sail at sunset aboard the Cetacean, a 52-foot Hawaiian catamaran. With the wind in our sails, the Cetacean skims along the waters of Orange Beach, Alabama and Perdido Key, Florida. While out sailing, you’ll see coastal wildlife and marine life all around. Take in the sights and sounds as pelicans and cormorants dive into the water; bald eagles, egrets, sea gulls, herons and osprey fly nearby; schools of bait fish surround the sailboat; and our resident pod of dolphins plays in our bow wake. Our knowledgeable tour guide and captain point out the local flora and fauna. You may see osprey and their nests, herons, bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, and maybe even an alligator or two. The Explorer allows us to get as close as safely possible to the banks and the local marine and wildlife. Because the boat only needs 16 to 18 inches of water underneath, we can sneak into creeks and swamps where few other boats can go, providing you with a truly unique and memorable experience.

Our third sail with this crew and fun and informative each time. Two times on the dolphin cruise and once on the sail boat. We take friends and family who visit us and they always love it. Well worth the cost of your tickets.

We found this trip, while looking for something to so while visiting Gulf Shores. There were very few dolphin/eco tour running during February. I was happy we picked this one! The boat was great. It was clean and had good seating. They offered snack, soda, water, beer, wine and fun cocktails. They also provided blanket, which was amazing since we had picked a pretty chilly & windy day. The captain and his first mate were very attentive. The first mate walked around the entire trip making sure we were ok, binging us blankets, and asking if we needed more drinks. The captain gave an amazing speech. He was extremely knowable about the dolphin, the birds and the bay itself. It was so entertaining!!! It was fun looking for the dolphin. We found a pod with 5 dolphin pretty soon into our trip. We stayed with them for a while, watching them jump and play. They were amazing, and came right up to the boat at one point. We were about to grab a couple photos. Word to the wise, video them since they move so quickly it’s hard to catch them. We saw lots of different types of water birds, as well. Overall, it was a great tour and we would absolutely book with this company again. They were friendly and informative. We had a great time!!!
