If you are considering this tour...go. Be aware some of the restaurants have changed from the Tripadvisor description but it makes no difference. My wife and I from out of state attended on a Friday afternoon and were joined by 12 other people. Our guide Cynthia was simply great. Witty, warm, knowledgeable, and an all around great host. The tour says "Bites" in the name, but trust me you get more than a bite in each location. We had fried green tomatoes, biscuits, bahn mi, nuts, oysters, fried pickles, BBQ ribs, wings, praline, and beignets. Good heavens it should be called the Bienville BULGE! There is a fair amount of walking along the way to help you digest and take in the history of Mobile. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful time doing the downtown food tour. My husband is from Mobile and another couple from Mobile joined us. The tour guide, Bella, was very informative and fun. We learned a lot about the food, culture and heritage of Mobile. It really was a great experience and I recommend to visitors as well as those who live in the area!
