Our Original Ghost Walk takes travelers through the historic downtown Mystic landscape, guests will become immersed in the dark, sordid and supernatural history of New England’s famous seafaring village. From 17th century strife of colonial life amidst the Pequot Wars and the King Phillip’s war to mysterious turn of the century murders, Mystic’s history was founded in darkness. As the centuries grew, lost seafarers, creepy cryptids, and scandalous happenings took place in our quaint seaside community.

Hear tales of Revolutionary heroes, industrial revolution hot spots, and Union soldiers of the Civil War still seen in their spectral form all on our Downtown Mystic tour. Our Downtown Mystic tour takes guests from the 17th through 20th centuries in old Mystic with true terrifying tales from our hidden archives and remarkable history amid legends and lore. From curses to paranormal activity, there’s no shortage of the supernatural in downtown Mystic.

Unfortunately there was just to many in our group . Tour guide hard to hear and a child keep talking . We expected to see more and have more history. All you do is getting pointed to places u don't really go. Like see thar church way over there up a hill ... then some story . See that house across the water then some ghost story. We lost interest when it seemed like all we hear about was haunted bars by ex drunks. We do tours in every city we go to , this lacked alot .

Hi there! We're so sorry that you felt the tour was lacking. We received other great feedback from the same tour and know that sometimes in our big October groups, there can be loud guests. We try to keep our tour walkable (fort mystic is a big climb) and downtown mystic is flush with restaurants and bars though on the tour you learn that's not always what they were and most are haunted by historic spirits. I was a solo traveler in a large group. Our guide, Nate, was friendly and knowledgeable. Tour was a wonderful way to spend an evening away from home.

Fantastic! Entertaining stories with some history and humor mixed in. Even the kids were paying attention to the stories for the full 2 hours. Highly recommended.
