I love taking food tours when I travel. I was given the opportunity to take a food tour right here where I live in Santa Barbara. Sure, let's do it! I was impressed with the locations chosen on the tour -- these are bonafide local favorites. There was a good variety of food and good portions. At the end of the tour I was full but not stuffed. The guides were fun and mixed in some great Santa Barbara history. They were also knowledgeable and knew the backstories of the businesses we were visiting, which made it more meaningful to me. I would recommend this food tour to anyone visiting Santa Barbara, and do it early during your stay in Santa Barbara so you can figure out some of the best spots to go back to while you're here. Oh, and what a lovely way to spend an afternoon just walking around downtown Santa Barbara.

My wife and I had a great time on the tour. Plenty of food, a couple wine tastings and a little beer with a nice walk around state street and a little history thrown in it's hard to think of a better way to spend an afternoon. We are not from Santa Barbara so it was nice to be introduced to some great restaurants that we otherwise would probably not have known about.

We just took a tour with Evan and her new tour guide, Brittany, and we had an amazing time! We've been living in Santa Barbara for two years and we went places we never knew existed! Evan highlights the beautiful history of Santa Barbara in a fun way throughout the walk to different stops. My mom is visiting from Florida and we wanted to do something fun with her and this was a perfect way to spend the day. My mom is also recovering from spine surgery and I was nervous about the amount of walking but everything was perfectly spaced so there wasn't an issue. Evan perfectly curates the tour in a way that leaves you perfectly full but not stuffed. We were ready to eat around 7:30/8:00! We also brought our 12 week old baby and Evan went out of her way to point out which stops had changing tables which was so helpful for this new mom. Great way to spend the afternoon and I look forward to bringing more family and friends on the tour when we have visitors! Thanks, Evan!
