We had a great afternoon, with Kendall as our guide, visiting restaurants in downtown Santa Barbara. The first stop was at Renaud's Patisserie for dessert, the best part of a meal. After dessert, we walked to the Santa Barbara Public Market for Chinese at the Empty Bowl, yum. In the market there are several open shops or kiosks with delicious foods. One that I missed going back for had these amazing tiny cupcakes. Maybe another time. Next we walked to Cielito Restaurant for margaritas and soft shell tacos. A short walk later we arrived at Isabella Gourmet Foods with Cebada Winery on the second floor. We had a wine tasting, and tried some gourmet popcorn. I am not usually a lover of dessert wines, but tried a superb blueberry dessert wine and am impressed. We walked to Persona Pizza afterward for wood fired, thin crust pizza and a glass of red lager. The last two stops were for cheese at C'Est Cheese and one more dessert at McConnells Ice Cream. Throughout the tour Kendall gave us a bit of Santa Barbara history. At each location with the exception of the Public Market (as they have 15 different vendors of yum) a representative of the restaurant stopped to speak to our group, making us feel wanted and at ease. For those who did not want alcohol there were good alternatives.

We enjoyed our afternoon with Kendall. As locals of SB, we learned some fun facts about our home and got some delicious food from restaurants that were new to us. Bring your appetite and sense of adventure!!

After multiple experiences on the Taste of Santa Barbara Food Tour, I find myself enjoying the food and wine tour more with every visit. Food, laughs, wandering, food, Santa Barabara history, smiles, food, shopping and satisfying hunger fulfillment. Kendall, who led the fun tour, was knowledgeable and personable. So much fun. A Sunday well spent brings a week of content ❤️
