My husband and I visit Santa Barbara a few times a year and we have recently been turned onto food tours. While planning our latest trip I was pleased to find that two loves have recently collided...Savor Santa Barbara. We enjoyed our tour with Erin all to ourselves. She was knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with. We were thrilled to learn of local eateries and the history of each. You will come away satisfied with a full belly and an appreciation for local digs and this beautiful city.

This was one of my favourite activities in a two week road trip in California. Its a trip round some of the best food/ drink venues in Santa Barbara with a local outlook on ingredients, community etc. Our guide Erin was fantastic, very knowledgable and also gave us all the history of areas we visited/walked through. We visited 7 different venues, having taster portions of some of the most amazing food, e.g. Authentic Mexican tacos, lobster bisque, ice creams, wine, beer, acai berry bowls, salmon. (Some pictures uploaded) If you're a tourist it's a great way to do and learn a lot about Santa Barbara in a short amount of time. We probably would never have found some of the venues ourselves. It's not too much walking, and you'll feel very satisfied by the end. We even ended up going back to several of the venues next day!

I love good food and love exploring new places. However, I wouldn't really call myself a “gourmet” foodie. This tour was great, and we definitely got plenty to eat! This was my first food tour and I didn't know if I would get full… Yup I did! I also found the verity of food, wine and beer to be very complementary. I've lived in Santa Barbara for many years and it was really fun to learn new things about the architecture and history as we walked. I also really enjoyed going into the Funk Zone to Santa Barbara Winery. This tour is great if you a local or a visitor; you can get plenty to eat, have fun, and get a great overview of some of the best Santa Barbara has to offer all without committing a full day. Well worth the money… Great job Savor Santa Barbara Food Tours!!!
