Melody was SO knowledgeable, interesting and fun—really more like a new friend than a food tour guide/docent. She saw that every question was answered, accommodated any food tastes/aversions, tailored our experience to our interests (there were only three of us touring: my husband and I and our new friend Heather). Enjoyable from start to finish and now we have places we'll definitely return to: Renaud's Patisserie (don't miss Salted Caramel macarons), Empty Bowl in the SB Public Market (fabulous Pansit—we'll be back), Best street tacos (plus chips, salsa and guac) at Los Arroyos—our new favorite SB Mexican restaurant, Grassini's wine tasting and Jessica Foster's AMAZING truffles, Persona (had two complete pizzas including their award winning Chipotle Chicken), plus (how we fit this in??) drinks at the Finch and Fork and topped off with their banana cream pie milk shake. What?? Someone get the recipe . . . Meanwhile, I'm in a food coma. DEFINITELY work it!

We enjoyed our time with Melody and the stories she told. The section of sites and foods - both old and new - made for a wonderful afternoon. It was the highlight of our trip and we Highly recommend the experience. Well worth the money.

What a wonderful food tour! My boyfriend knew I love food tour, he booked this to surprise me. We stayed at Santa Barbara for a few days last week and went on this food tour last Thursday. It was a beautiful day to begin with. We met another couple from New York, just four of us. A nice semi private tour! Nancy was absolutely adorable. She was warm, personable and a great tour guide. Food was delicious! We tasted the best macaron, plenty of pan fried pancit noodles, awesome chipotle chicken pizza, yummy el pastor taco, truffles... Even though my boyfriend and I are not much of wine and beer drinker but at the last winery, they served us tea and some jam tastings. Visiting different historic landmark was very enjoyable too. We really love it!
