This was a completely enjoyable evening. We found incredible food that we never would have found on our own. Don't eat beforehand, you'll have to pass on food that you wish you hadn't. We very much enjoyed our time with Kathy, and will be booking the LV Strip Food Tour on our next trip.

I recently went on the Downtown Delights tour. I'll make a special note that I was born and raised in Las Vegas and at first apprehensive to try a "tourist" activity for MY city. I had the day off and LOVE food so I figured why not? If it ended up being food spots I already knew , at least I'd have some fun conversation with people I meet on the tour. Boy were my assumptions wrong, being from Vegas I felt I know it all since I'm a foodie but all the spots we stopped in, especially that delicious hotdog spot were new to me. The fresh lemonade press was fun and refreshing, trying multiple unique flavors of popcorn was awesome, things id never try typically. The barbeque truck we stopped at was literally some of the best barbeque I've ever had but with a unique twist, not traditional. I know what good barbeque is, since I visit Texas often. Honestly every food spot had a highlight to it, obviously not everything will knock your socks off but overall it was excellent and very filling. I have a big appetite personally and was worried I might leave hungry but I was beyond satiated. Aside from the food, my favorite part is how Kathy literally explains all of the history of the locations as you walk by or walk thru. Like a true tour, it was super informative and I learned more about downtown in that couple of hours than I did being raised here. Anyone can drop you off at random spots to eat but to me what makes a food tour special is the experience and the "tour" guide. Kathy helped turn this from a 5 star to a 6 star review. It was delicious, fun and informative. Thanks again for teaching a local some new tricks. I look forward to the next tour I try!

First of all Kathryn is super nice and very informative. This tour has 7 total stops. 4 of them are in the first 30 minutes in the container park one right after another. You get a small glass of lemonade to start things off. Then you go to a jerky store where if your lucky you get some very tiny samples, it was super crowded when we were there so the owner was distracted. From there you walk about 100 feet and eat 1/2 an ear of street corn (average). From there another 100 feet and you eat 1/3 of a hot dog with some special toppings (good). After that you go walking for about 30 minutes before you get to a BBQ food truck and get a small 3 bite sub with some meat and toppings (average). After this you walk for about 1 hour until the next stop and that stop is a pizza place. The pizza is very good but think of a very small pizza and you get a tiny slice or 2. You also get a fairly large meatball (average). You spend a lot of time here and the they act like they don't know why you are there, not sure why this facility can't be called in advance since there is an hour leading up to it and have the food ready when you arrive. After that another 15 minutes walk where you get a small 6 oz shake that is very sweet and does taste good. Total of 7 stops in 2.5-3 hours, with 4 stops in the first 30 minutes. The best part of this tour is not the food but rather something you get to see inside of a men's bathroom in one of the hotels, I won't spoil that. I don't consider this a true "foodie" tour as the food was really nothing special. I suspect you get about $20 worth of food on the tour. Had high hopes, but was let down by the food and the long gaps after the first 30 minutes. if Kathryn was not so sweet and caring and informative I would of been angry at the cost of the tour and given this 1 star but her alone moves this up to 3 stars....Spencer S.
