Le voyage organisé Dreamcatcher est une visite guidée Navajo de 4 heures en soirée. Cela commence par une excursion nocturne de 2,5 heures au coucher du soleil à travers le paysage emblématique de Monument Valley et vous permet d'explorer les itinéraires de l'arrière-pays et les zones réglementées. Après le Sunset Tour, un dîner Navajo traditionnel vous attendra au fond de la vallée près de Rain God Mesa. La visite se terminera par un programme d'animations spécial au cours duquel vous pourrez profiter de danses traditionnelles, de chants, de tambours et de contes tout en étant assis autour d'un feu de camp sous les étoiles.

Excursions Trailhandler de Simpson
La participation à l'aventure du circuit Dreamcatcher est le moyen idéal pour en savoir plus sur la culture Navajo et pour découvrir toute la beauté et la magie de Monument Valley ! Au cours de la visite de deux heures et demie, vous visiterez des sites tels que l'étonnante arche Big Hogan, l'arche Sun's Eye et d'anciens pétroglyphes (art rupestre), l'arche Ear of the Wind, les célèbres formations rocheuses Totem Pole et Yei bi chei, John Fords Point et beaucoup plus. Vous visiterez également un Navajo Hogan traditionnel où vous pourrez voir les Navajos préparer leur laine et démontrer leur art du tissage de tapis ! Alors que le soleil commence à décliner à l'ouest et que les étoiles commencent à remplir le ciel de Monument Valley, vous visiterez ensuite le cadre pittoresque de Rain God Mesa où nos cuisiniers Navajo prépareront des tacos traditionnels Navajo avec du pain frit fait maison et des steaks grillés sur un feu de camp. Ce soir, vous pourrez profiter de votre dîner dans le plus grand décor extérieur que vous puissiez imaginer ! La soirée se poursuivra avec un programme spécial d'animations culturelles navajos. Un danseur Navajo vêtu de toutes ses insignes exécute diverses danses tandis qu'un maître de cérémonie tambourine et chante et raconte des histoires près d'un feu de camp ouvert et sous un ciel rempli d'étoiles de Monument Valley ! It was the best experience ever. They showed the gems of the monument valley that we would.not be able to find by ourselves. A great experience.

We first met & used Simpson Tours (Richard) back in 1998. Now that was 24 years ago - a GREAT tour - as with most people - over the years we often tend to maybe Over Remember the Good?? We had our 30th anniv on July 11. Called in March & booked the Deam catcher - asked if Richard was still doing tours - “Yes, He & his Brothers own the company. We met Richard last evening - of course he did not remember us but after I showed him a picture from then👍 Richard did Not Disappoint / Last evening was as great / even better than 24 years ago. Keep in mind - Monument Valley IS Primitive & pretty much as it has been for Hundreds if not thousands of years. Do not expect a Smooth ride😉 Mother nature at Anytime can slap you in the face to say ‘Hello’ its all part of the experience. Richard & his brothers grew up inside Monument Valley, this was their back yard growing up. If you are lacking in mobility at all - you might want to rethink this tour. Getting in & out of the vehicles can be somewhat challenging, I am 72 & climbed in & out like a squirrel. My Wife is 74, I always offered her a hand, she could have done it herself but slower without my hand - Richard is there to offer help at all times. There is a 17 mile ‘loop’ to drive your own car rough but doable. However, This tour Will take you deep into the Valley NOT open to private cars. Taking that loop would be like Going to Disneyland & taking the Monorail ride around the park - Then leaving & you telling everyone you went to Disneyland😉 I am only giving Simpson 5 stars because 10 is not offered. Book this tour - Talk to your Guide, tell them what you expect - They Will work hard to please you, If your riding with Richard - you are riding with one of the owners.

It was perfect ! Our guide was sooooo funny. He explains us a lot about the culture. the Monuments were breathtaking. An excellent stay, we highly recommend!
