Upon visiting Asheville for the first time earlier this month we did not have any specific plans in mind. My husband and I are avid bikers so we thought about renting bikes. We then stumbled upon the electric bike brewery crawl and it was one of the best experiences we had the whole week. We were both hesitant as we had never ridden e-bikes before but it was so much fun! The entire process from booking the trip to meeting up with our amazing guide was so easy. We called the morning of our trip and were accommodated for that afternoon.
Our guide, Jordy was the best guide we have ever had (and I am not exaggerating, as I always seem to make my husband go on tours with me when we travel 😆). Jordy was so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable about the city and the various breweries we visited, it was such a great time. I honestly felt like we had known him forever, he was a great teacher and is exceptional at his job. He made the entire tour feel comfortable and helped us get to know new people. Having gotten to talk to him more it was great to find someone who is so skilled at their job and has found a calling educating people and really making people feel at home in Asheville. I can honestly say he is what made the tour so fun. He truly is an asset to the company.
I really value people's reviews, so I like to be completely honest in writing mine! I want to recommend this trip to anyone looking for something different to do while staying in Asheville. There are so many breweries to check out, it really helps when you have someone who is familiar with the area to give you tips and share their insights with you. Traveling during Covid-19, it also helps to have someone navigate different places and show you what is open and what to check out on your stay.
We had so much fun riding around on the e-bike and getting to explore Asheville in a different way. This trip is definitely worth the money and I am just sad we did not get the chance to go rafting or try out some of the other activities this company offers. I can't wait to get back to Asheville and explore some more!
