We pretty much decided last minute to escape the summer heat of our home town and enjoy the cooler coastal weather of Santa Barbara. We dropped into Cal Coast Adventures around 10am and this place was already bustling. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, they were kind enough to hook us up with a couple of electric bikes. The whole process was simple and quick, and it seems like no matter what you ask of this team, they respond with an enthusiastic “absolutely” whenever possible. Anywho, the bikes were great and we covered a ton of territory on them in just a couple of hours. We did not venture down State St, simply because it was Labor Day weekend, and the traffic was insane, but you can really get all over Santa Barbara easily from their location. If you’re looking for a great rental place with plenty of options, including guided tours which we saw plenty of people going on, you will likely be as happy as we were with this company.

My wife and I wanted to try out electric bikes and what a perfect place to do so in Santa Barbara. The folks at Cal Coastal were absolutely terrific. They took the time to show each of the different models and allowed us to select which ones we were interested in. They were then very careful to teach us how to use them and made sure we were comfortable. There was absolutely no stress. We had a ball.

Elias is the man! We were in Santa Barbara on our honeymoon and he totally took care of us. Made some adjustments to the bikes so we could have baskets and saddle bags. He also gave us some very good recommendations for eateries. I would highly recommend using them for any rental needs.
