This was a trip for our family to see wildlife with kids, parents and grandparents. Everyone was impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable guides, who related to all ages. The boat was comfortable, clean and roomy, as well as easily accessible. Our naturalist pointed out many birds, the seal pups and the sea otters. They even had some binoculars and blankets to loan out. The one and a half hour ride was a good length. This trip was relaxing and informative, and I would recommend it to both locals and visitors to California. Bring warm jackets and hats, because the wind can be slightly chilly. Also don’t forget your camera and binoculars. There is a nice bathroom at the dock. No food or water is available on board, but people did bring their own.

Aaron was a fabulous and very knowledgeable guide. Though I’ve visited the slough for over two decades now, I learned many interesting facts and history I’ve never heard. We saw many birds, otters, and seals as well.

The naturalist explained all the animal behaviours we witnessed really well. Wonderful way of exploring the local wide life.
