Flew on 1/22/13. I was apprensive with low clouds on the north side of the island. We took off and immediatly saw whale pods just off the coast. We turned and flew over Lihue then right between a saddleback ridge and over the ocean again. Beautiful coast line views and Harry pointed out the special beaches, coffee plantations and many waterfalls. All the while we were connected to Harry and could here air traffic from the other tours. Harry (our pilot) spotted another pod of whales and circled so that all could see. Then up the Waimea Canyon and out over the Na Pali Coast, from a 3000 foot canyon to 4000 foot shear cliffs. With clouds and rain from the rainforest and some turns by Harry all aboard were offered views of multiple rainbows.
Then along the North coast over beautiful Hanalei Bay, past the Kilauea Light House and then south back toward Lihue. Before we landed we saw more waterfalls, cattle ranches, and former sugarcane plantations. Smooth landing and a great time. After 31 years of marrage I did not realize until finished that my wife had never been in a small plane. Although a bit shaky after landing she enjoyed the entire flight.
