This experience could have been improved if Air Kawaii cared more about their clients satisfaction than in making $20. I spent $1200 on four flights for my daughter, two grandchildren and myself. A staff photographer snapped a photo of the four of us in front of the helicopter but when I asked him if he could take a photo with MY camera he refused. Why? It's 'company policy'. When I went to take a photo of daughter and grandchildren the employee blocked me. As suspected, the company did so to try and force me to purchase, at the end of the flight, a $20 5 x 7 photo. I thought this was outrageous! In addition, the flight was advertised and sold as 60 – 65 minutes but we were only in the air 53 minutes. I suggest you check out other helical after services and avoid Air Kawaii.

I do apologize for the poor experience you had with our ground crew. Although we do not allow our staff to take a photo with your personal devices you still can take photos yourself of your family or a quick selfie as long as you are in the safe designated space they tell you to stay in (since around a running aircraft). I will be sure to go over this with our staff here because there is no reason they should be "blocking" you trying to take a photo of your family. We do offer an optional media package for purchase for those wanting to do that but we do not force you to purchase that. Completely up to you and many do choose to purchase it as a memory to take home. Thank you again for the feedback good and bad we do appreciate it.
