Trip was wonderful. Rhett was an excellent tour guide. And the boat captains were awesome too. We saw so many birds and alligators. Dolphins too. Great experience

Our guide was outstanding but there was A LOT of van time. We were picked up near Sanibel and spent more than half of the day driving in a van that was clean but not that comfortable to be in for well over 5 hours. I know a safari includes travel time but the van time overshadowed the less than two hours of boat time and the 45 minute nature walk. We didn't get any great pictures either, a couple of sleeping gators and a few birds. I realize nature is unpredictable and perhaps we went on an off day but be aware, there is a lot of driving. My review would have been rated higher if we hadn't spent so long in a van driving between the 3 tours stops, 4 including lunch, and the time it took to stop and pick up, then drop off, the other guests up from various locations.

I appreciate the feedback but I need to clarify a few incorrect statements. The airboat ride is an hour. The mangrove wilderness boat ride is an hour. The visit to the Smallwoods Store Museum was left off of your review. Lunch is about 45 minutes to an hour and the nature walk is an hour. The nature walk is an hour. You have also left out the hour long wildlife drive in Big Cypress National Preserve. It's possible you've included that in the drive time but that's part of the tour where we take you into the backcountry to look for wildlife. It does take an hour to get from our last pickup to the Everglades and 45 minutes to return from our last excursion to the first drop off. Our guests are not in the van for 5 hours. The tour takes place in one of the most remote wildernesses in the Eastern United States and accessing it from Sanibel does take time and patience. Thankfully we have amazing biologists as guides to narrate the tour on the way there. Thank you again for your review.
