Joe was a fantastic tour guide for the day. We did all sorts of adventures yesterday. Dolphin boat ride, nature walk, visited Manatees at Big Cypress National Preserve, local lunch in Everglades City then a fun airport ride on Lake Trafford. Right out of swamp people. Learned and saw lots of birds and alligators. Was one of our highlights of our 3 day visit to this area.

Ben was our tour guide and he did a fantastic job! If all your guides are as knowledgeable and personable as him, you have a top notch staff. He was on time and professional from the moment he picked us up and went above and beyond to make sure that all of us were comfortable, could hear him well, and enjoyed the day. We learned so much about the ecosystem throughout the day and the importance of all the different aspects of the environment. The captains at the lake and Smallwoods were also very good. Everyone was passionate about the Everglades and environment and it showed that they all love their jobs!

This tour is a great experience. Our guide Alex was helpful, extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The airboat ride was great and our captain (Johnson) was tremendous. The diversity of bird life was incredible and the boat ride itself was a thrill. The lunch provided was mediocre at best, but their ice cream made up for its shortcomings. After lunch we went on the Smallwood boat ride in the mangrove islands, and it was a cold miserable waste of time. Note to future travelers, reschedule if the weather turns cool. The nature walk was unique and a nice end to the day. The return time is very unpredictable due to in season traffic, so don’t schedule dinner reservations. Overall the experience was unique and memorable. If they could change the afternoon small boat ride, it would have been great. Again thanks to Alex for a memorable and fun overall experience
