It is a shame I cannot give more stars. The driver/tour guide and airboat tour guide were incredible and, even though we only saw 1 gator, we had fun and they did a great job. My lack of stars review comes from the interaction with whomever answers emails/internet communication. The phone # listed is only a recording telling you that if you need to speak to someone you have to request that via email. When it was late in the day prior to our tour, I emailed and did not get a response, so I chatted on instagram and was immediately met with very rude, all caps, questioning responses. I simply let them know that I hadn't heard anything and my tour was the next day and whoever responded told me I need to "read what I book", which was interesting because no information was EVER sent to read about what I had booked. Communication is terrible. I originally asked if I could know the time of the tour since I was only in town a few days and wanted to book other things and that response was such that I was basically wasting their time and it'll be in the morning and I just needed to wait. When I responded that I did not receive anything that I could read for details, they said "so, did you receive and open this?!" as if I would have a need to lie to them about receiving an email. All very accusatory and confrontational. Their communication team needs a lesson in customer service, for sure. If you want a specific time or communication, you will not get it with banana joes. Like I said, the tour ended up being great, but they are not nice when it comes to getting any info. I simply wanted to be sure everything was set so I didn't get up early on vacation for nothing, and responses, once received, were such that, in my customer service management role, I would be writing employees up. They also obviously researched my IG name with who made the payment as they directly referred to my husband in their public IG response (I'd used a cc with his name), so he got called out publicly and he didn't even know I was trying to verify the next day's activities. Unprofessional and disappointing. With the price of the tours, they can afford to hire someone to answer phones and be nice to paying customers .
