Your tour includes a portable lunch. It consists of a turkey sandwich on organic whole wheat bread, fruit, freshly baked cookie, and bottled water. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available with 48 hours advance notice.
This tour requires a certain amount of walking on uneven and rocky surfaces.
Motorized wheelchairs or scooters cannot be accommodated.

The other folks for our tour did not show Carnival paid the minimum we were able to do our photography tour of the Yukon with Pat. Pat took us to some amazingly scenic places helped us take some amazing photographs of the beauty around us. His knowledge of the area and the history was outstanding. We had a wonderful trip would suggest anyone who loves beautiful scenery and taking wonderful pictures spend time with these folks

Thanks so much for this great review. I'm glad to hear that you were able to go on our tour even though the minimum number wasn't reached. This review doesn't exactly match the name of the tour because we sell photo tours in Skagway directly through the ship, and that is the tour you went on with Pat. Our tours sold online from Skagway board the Fast Ferry and spend the day in Haines. It is a 6.5 hour tour. There are also 4 hour tours departing from Haines. So it can be a bit confusing. Either way, I'm glad you enjoyed your time with us. Your description of the tour makes it sound just like the type of experience Rainbow Glacier Adventures is known for- small group, personable and knowledgeable guide, and a great choice of locations.

My wife and I just finished a great tour with Karla. She was a great guide, extremely personable and knowledgeable of Haines and the abundant wildlife in the area, as well as the amazing scenery. Michelle was also extremely helpful in setting up the trip, rebooking a couple of times as our travel plans changed. She was in contact with us regularly as the trip approached checking to see if we needed anything. A very positive experience and one that I highly recommend.

She is mostly behind the scenes, but her commitment and expertise assures that our tours go smoothly. And when plans change, Michelle is there to help set up a new tour program if possible.

You won’t be disappointed if you book a tour with Rainbow Glacier Adventures. I loved the small town feel and appreciated Joe’s passion of ensuring his clients have an amazing adventure. Karla was an incredible guide. Very warm and welcoming and her knowledge of the area was thorough and interesting. She had a nice calm demeanor that made people feel at ease. I really enjoyed myself and I got some incredible photos during the tour.
