My friend and I have been travelling through California for the past month and when we arrived to Monterey we looked up if there were any walking tours about Cannery Row. I always enjoy a walking tour and have done many in various Asian and European cities. I was so happy to hear that Tom was providing this activity in Monterey. He didn't disappoint at all. You can tell that Tom is passionate about his hometown and is a with of knowledge on all things about Cannery Row. So many interesting points of information and sights that were pointed out to me by Tom, would have been totally looked over and not even noticed by my self if I was walking along solo..... He also pointed out many interesting facts about Steinbeck's book CANNERY ROW. Even though I hadn't read the book, Tom now has me eager to put this on my holiday reading list. I am looking forward to reading it now. Thanks again Tom for a very personal and passionate tour of Cannery Row in your home town.
