This thrilling tour takes 1 to 2 hours, plus time for transportation. The bungee jump in Monteverde consists of jumping off a tram, which moves on cables operated by a motor, into the center of a valley. The extreme jump is 143 meters off the ground. Jumper's minimum weight is 50kg. and maximum weight is 113kg. Transportation is included.

We spent a few hours at Monteverde Extremo and were very pleased with our experience. We did the bungee jump and the zip-line canopy tour and both were thrilling and amazing experiences !! Only thing we didn't like as much is that we felt the guides were rushing us in the zip-line activity. Maybe it's because there was a lots of people with us (a very big group that came on an organized tour), but it felt like a race and we didn't have time to appreciate the moment. Other than that, this place is a must if you want to experience an adrenaline rush in a beautiful landscape.

Amazing tour and we felt safe the entire time. There was always someone to hook you in and catch you at the end. There are many long zip lines and some of them my husband and I got to go on together. A lot of hiking though so if you're not in good shape it will be exhausting. I had to have my husband push me up the last hill to get to the superman. Other's attached their carabiner's to each other. The Tarzan swing was terrifying but so worth it and the Superman was breath taking although I came in less graceful that I would have liked. But a must do in Monteverde! Also you HAVE to do the Bunjee Jump. At 469 feet it's the tallest in Latin America and such a rush! They take you out to the middle of nowhere on a small cart attached to the zip lines and you feel like you're flying for a couple of seconds. I couldn't think of a better place to do this and cross it off my bucket list.

We went zip lining /Tarzan swing/ repelling and bungee jumping with this company. They had about 30 people in the group with us and made sure we went through the zip lines as fast as possible, which were long but slow...pretty but not too exciting. The main instruction we got was to not use our cameras for photos, and even blocked me when I tried to take a few of my boyfriend, all so they could sell you a photo package at the end. They even threatened to take away my boyfriend's GoPro if he filmed, and would not let him have it on the bungee jump- so they could film it with their GoPro and sell you the footage. We had to wait for over an hour after the tour for them to go through photos and videos with us and it just seemed more like visiting a used car salesman than a fun excursion.
