This thrilling tour takes 1 to 2 hours, plus time for transportation. The bungee jump in Monteverde consists of jumping off a tram, which moves on cables operated by a motor, into the center of a valley. The extreme jump is 143 meters off the ground. Jumper's minimum weight is 50kg. and maximum weight is 113kg. Transportation is included.

This was fantastic! We wanted a thrilling zip line that had platforms in the trees (as opposed to steal towers along the road). The cables (12) were long and steep- some over ravines with hundreds of feet drop. The Tarzan swing was like bungee jumping w 4 meters of free-fall! it was crazy! The last cable is 1 km long and they give you the option of hanging like superman. This was terrifying- but so fun! The tour guides were all kind and helpful. Wow!

I recently made a stop in Monteverde while traveling through Costa Rica with some friends. Monteverde is an incredible location, worth far more time than the 3 days we gave it, but if you only have one day there then the Extremo Canopy Tour (zip lining) is a must... and upgrading to going "Superman" on the last 1km stretch may be the best $5 you'll ever spend. If you're scared of heights, this won't be fun for you, but I'm not crazy about heights and I had an incredible time. The guides are very helpful, friendly & have a very playful sense of humor (there were a couple of moments where the jokes were on us). One of our guides was a very cool guy named Danny, who will be running a bungee jump that Extremo will be adding to their list of offerings in the near future. If you see Danny tell him C. J. says "hi". Overall, I can't imagine there is a better zip-lining tour in all of Costa Rica & if you think you have one that offers competition... please let me know.

This place was amazing, it's close to the center of Monteverde so it's easy to get to. The views are beautiful and the staff was very friendly and pure life, especially Antonio the photo guy. I definitely recommend this place for an unforgettable experience.
