The bungee jump in Monteverde consists of jumping off a tram, which moves on cables operated by a motor, into the center of a valley. The extreme jump is 143 meters off the ground. Jumper's minimum weight is 50kg. and maximum weight is 113kg. Transportation is included.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I booked well in advance back in May for June 15, 2022, at 2:00pm. Because I am staying at Occidental Papagayo (Guanacaste), which is nearly three hours to Monteverde, I had to arrange for private round-trip transportation that cost $365 USD. I left the hotel early (about 10:30am) to make sure I would arrive to the park on time. When I arrived well before 2:00pm, the entrance to the park was closed. When I finally spoke with someone from the park via telephone, I was informed that there was a "problem" with the bungee and that they were "fixing it." I was told that a full refund would be given to me. When asked about reimbursement for the private round-trip transportation, I was told to speak with someone "in charge" tomorrow morning which I intend to do. There was no proper communication from the park to inform in advance that something was "wrong" with the bungee. I sat in a van for three hours going to Monteverde and three hours coming back, going up and down the mountain all FOR NOTHING! Horrible experience ever!!!

This was one of the best experiences ever! I had seen online that bungee jumping was offered somewhere in Monteverde (it's something I've wanted to do for a long time) so when I got to my hotel (Cloud Forest Lodge) I asked at the front desk and the lady working there (Vanessa) recommended these guys. Called them for me to check the schedule and I was off to Extremo within the next hour and a half (price included hotel pick-up and drop-off). They offer bungee jumping, ziplining, and Tarzán Swing. I went to the bungee jumping area and there was a group of people already there. The guides can bring 3 people on the platform on each trip so the wait isn't too bad. When I got to my turn, the guides explained what to do and what not to do (might want to take your shoes off so you don't lose them - a girl did). I felt very safe so when it was time to jump I didn't hesitate. It was amazing. I was so happy and excited that I ran back to the reception and signed up for the Tarzán Swing right after. It's done from the same platform as the bungee jump. I highly recommend it as well. I couldn't stop smiling for the rest of the day. The entire team there is amazing but special shout out to Didier! Pura Vida!

Awesome bungee jumping and really frightening ! Be sure to reserve the bungee jumping in advance if you want to do it, even though the reception tells you this is not needed. Special guides for bungee jumping may have alreay left if no reservation has been done
