There’s more than one option for ghost tours in Flagstaff. We intentionally chose Ghost City Tours because I’ve done tours with them in other cities. This tour operator is pretty new to Flagstaff, so they’re a little light on volume of reviews on the different customer feedback sites. I wanted to be one of the first reviews to help other travelers make informed decisions. Ghost City offers two tours. One is adults-only, and the other is family-friendly. We were a group of 3 moms and 5 teenagers, so we chose the family-friendly option. We were scheduled to meet our guide at 8pm at the flagpole by the library. We arrived a few minutes early, and our guide (Amelia) was already there waiting for us. Much to our happy surprise, we were the only people on our tour, so it became an unexpected private tour. Amelia is a wonderful tour guide. She is relatable and sweet, and her actions while story telling are animated and engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk around downtown, and it was made even better by hearing the creepy stories that are interwoven into the history of the city. The tour lasted about an hour and a half and put about a mile and a half on my fitness tracker. It was an enjoyable evening stroll through the streets of downtown Flagstaff, made all the better by Amelia’s stories of ghostly lore. Everyone in our group would happily do the tour again, and the adults would like to return for the more mature-themed version. We’ll definitely seek out Ghost City tours in other cities, as well.

Wow! My girlfriend talked me into this tour as we stayed in Flagstaff for only one night and man was this an awesome experience!!!!!! REQUEST SCOTT! He was our ghost tour guide and the dude needs his own tv show!! He was so so so good! Super informative, super friendly and what a storyteller!!! If you have a few extra hours, I can’t recommend this ghost tour with Scott enough! Even if you’re skeptical, you’ll walk away with an extremely positive and historically accurate perspective of Flagstaff, Arizona. We told Scott we’d be back in October, and he said he’d be ready with more stories. Thank you Ghost Tours, what a great experience!!!
