With a food credit you'll choose what you like at every stop and the tour replaces a meal. Choose what you like & how much. This is not a sampling tour but a meal. Great NY smaller item cheap eats near Times Sq. but a world away! Our very different food tours have hosted about 40,000 guests. Tour is 4-5 stops. The tour exceeded our expectations. The guide took us to places we probably wouldn't go without his recommendation, the food was good and really not expensive, considering we're talking about NYC. The restaurant recommendations really helped us a lot in the following days during our trip. And the coolest thing is that we made friends with other participants!

We thoroughly enjoyed the food tour. We tasted amazing food and my personal favourite was trying an espanada for the first time. Corey is a superb guide and knows exactly where to get hold of the most tastiest food and he is so knowledgeable. I only spent $40 on the food for the whole tour and my daughter and I were full. We were given lots of recommendations for restaurants to try which we will definitely be trying during the rest of our holiday. I would highly recommend this tour. The key to eating in New York is pretty simple, don't eat in tourist areas, don't spend crazy money and if you can, ask a local in the food industry. Through our Food On Foot Guided Public Tours and Private Food On Foot Tours and our new Personalized Restaurant Recommendation Service (see our website) we have been able to help tens of thousands of visitors in NY eat great over fifteen years. Knowing where to go is paramount and as the only food tour that gives our guests an unbiased restaurant recommendation segment on every tour it does matter which company you take a tour with. This was my husband and my first trip to New York and we really wanted to be able to experience the local food favorites. I ended up purchasing Go City passes and Food on Foot Tours was one of the suggested recommendations on their website. We have never been on a food tour before and didn't know what to expect. Our guide Corey was amazing!! He was super friendly, knowledgeable and definitely encouraging for the experience of New York local eats. Every stop we went to had a delicious and delightful experience of what makes NY eateries so special. I was surprised to find myself unable to compare the foods to something I would find in San Francisco (where we're from). Each stop left me curious to try even more of New York. It was truly a unique tour and not only would we absolutely go again, but will recommend it to anyone traveling to New York in the future!
