This was so much fun. It was like meeting up with two friends that we haven’t seen in a while and catching up while exploring this magical christmastown! The food portions were more than expected, the owners and managers at all of the establishments were so welcoming and we were treated like royalty by all of them. Wished we lived closer to enjoy other tours that Flavors of Frankenmuth offer! These ladies were delightful!

My family had a wonderful experience exploring the local eateries on a guided tour while visiting Michigan's Little Bavaria. This food tour was timely and well organized. We were able to savor the delights prepared by a handful of Frankenmuth's best-known eateries, all without waiting for a table on a busy Saturday afternoon! The food was prepared fresh, and the selections were very well proportioned. In fact, I felt very satisfied following the tour. (Side note: though alcoholic beverages were not included in the price of the tour, some in our party chose to purchase them at various stops as the wine and beer selections complimented our food samples well.) I felt this opportunity was a nice touch. Though the walk between stops was short, our guides, Amy and Shelly, made it a point to share some of the historical significance of Frankenmuth and its landmarks, as well as enlighten us with stories and folklore surrounding the area. Their warm personalities left us with a feeling as if we had just reunited with old friends who were sharing the love of their small town and favorite eateries with the group. We chose the early tour (with an add-on at the winery) as we had a family commitment that same evening; however, we plan to try the evening tour the next time we have the opportunity to do so because of the value and conservation of our time. Overall, I would recommend this tour to ANYONE who loves to sample local cuisine while on vacation; the monitory value and personally interactive experiences were greatly appreciated in today's world.
