In my honest opinion, an Uber ride would have been just the same and MUCH cheaper. The ride out to the salt lick BBQ was very uninformational. The driver talked to the guest in the front seat, but we didn't hear a word from him in the back. It would have been nice to hear some history of the area, the city, why they're so favors for BBQs, the wineries, anything really. Never been to Austin before and was hoping to learn a little more about something. When we got there we just ordered food on our own, no food and beverages included, the only history of the salt lick that we got was on the back of the menu.
When it comes to the wineries, you go inside you get your 6 chincy pours for $15 and it comes with no information on the winery comedy grapes, unless you ask.
for the second winery, the pours were a little larger and the wind was much better. Again though they never really went over any information about the winery or the grapes and the tour was run by our tour guide, not even associated with the winery, who didn't seem to know a ton about wine. Just the basics of pointing out what things were and the bottling process.
Overall not super thrilled with the tour at all and would suggest either renting a car or taking an Uber to save yourself money.
