This was an excellent way to spend a day in Austin. Our tour guide Matt was funny and informative. The BBQ was fantastic, and despite only having 45 minutes to eat, we were served in a timely manner and had plenty of time to enjoy the food. Driftwood Estates had a beautiful view of Texas Hill Country and you got to sample 6 wines. They even included a complimentary wine glass. Unfortunately, we were not able to visit the second winery as it was closed when we arrived. Please know that this was New Years Day so I was a little apprehensive going into this anyway and figured something wouldn't be open. Matt responded quickly and took us to a wine and coffee bar that he knew. However, it was still a little disappointing that we did not get to see the second winery. The company did provide a partial refund for the inconvenience and I received a phone call from the company to apologize. I would love to give them 5 stars for this tour, but not knowing that one of your tour stops is closed does put a damper on the experience. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely tour with them again without hesitation!
