Explore the natural wonders of Molokini Crater, a volcanic islet 3 miles (4.8 km) off the coast of Maui, on this snorkeling tour from Maalaea. Surrounded by clear tropical waters, this extinct cone is home to many species of marine life, such as fish, sea urchins, sharks, manta rays, and coral. Molokini is a marine preserve, meaning nothing can be disturbed, keeping the island and underwater environment pristine. You'll also explore Turtle Town, and admire native birds. Two water slides, a glass bottom viewing room, and a "leap of faith" are also available if you don't want to snorkel or finish early. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, soda, and juice are included.

Wonderful experience. Very knowledgeable. Food was good. Lots of people on the boat but well equipped and plenty of time to do everything. The crater was ok not a ton of great coral or fish but near experience.

It was nice, but I would choose a smaller boat if given the opportunity to do it again. The boat was very crowded and the first floor smelled awful from the bathrooms and inability to place toilet paper down the toilet. They need to get some sort of containment receptacle. The boat was also extra top heavy and swayed more because of that causing any kind of sea sickness to be amplified. The food was good, but not as advertised. They had run out of some things by the time we got on and we arrived 45 minutes early. The crew was friendly and fun. The equipment for snorkeling was in good working order and seemed clean. Be prepared to pay extra once on the boat for wet suits, pics, go-pros, alcoholic drinks, etc. The alcoholic drinks were only $2 and were strong. Cannot beat that! We stopped and looked at whales for an extended period of time which was okay, but we did not pay for the whale watch tour and due to the height of the boat the rocking motion was a lot. We had already been on our whale watching tour and just wanted to get to snorkeling. There was also a large group of people who stood on the top deck and not in their seats and blocked our view as we went back to the bay. This was frustrating and rude and the crew allowed them to do this and take pictures and basically monopolize the top deck. Overall, I would not go on this boat again. The “glass bottom” viewing area smelled like a port-a-potty and was so dirty you couldn’t see anything out of the windows. The locations, etc were nice but you can get to those on a smaller, cleaner, more intimate boat.

Super time with the family! Great hosts, lots of amazing photos and both Molokini and the Turtles were the best snorkeling I’ve experienced. So many whale babies :) The entire family loved it.
