The confirmation said to get to the location to check-in 30 minutes prior to departure, we were 5 minutes early, because a lady pointed us to the other dock... but the check-in chick was 5 minutes late anyways, so I feel bad for those waiting around 30 minutes prior. Not the best first impression and had me worried that this was going to be a super casual staff. They ended up being super friendly and accommodating though, could work on the first impression though!
Breakfast was a nice spread of pastries and fruit. Lunch was basic build your own sandwich spread and coleslaw, but simple and good. Three crew were on the boat. They were great at what they did. Definitely recommend going early, like this trip does versus the afternoon trips, as the water was getting super choppy by the time we were headed back.
The crater was beautiful, but we didn't luck out like other groups have with octopus and turtles. We only saw basic fish and pretty coral in crystal clear waters, which was great of course! But we saw more marine life around our resort off the beach. The swell started coming in and affecting the clarity of the water in turtle town, but we still saw three turtles! I wish the crew came around a second time and gave us squirts of the goggle defogger, as the mixed up water plus foggy glasses was frustrating during turtle town. The crew who was the lifeguard during turtle town, got out ahead of everyone and searched for turtles for us which was super nice, so we could just swim right over and see turtles right away over by him.
Overall, they were very friendly, the food was decent picnic food and the boat ride and views were great. Just wish we saw more, which is out of their control!
