We had an incredible time rafting h2o adventure this Labor Day weekend. We originally booked in July but due to some group members falling ill we rescheduled for Labor Day weekend. We did the whole 21 mile south fork, which I highly recommend if you want the full rafting experience. Our guide Ethan was absolutely amazing. I’ve rafted with several other companies in the past and because he was such an excellent guide we will be returning next summer for our annual trip and requesting him. We had so much fun on the water with him. He gave us the best rafting experience I’ve ever had. Our trip came with a lunch stop at the campsite. Lunch was a great build your own sandwich station which was needed after being on the water for a few hours. We also camped 2 nights. I will note that the information about the campsite is limited. When we got there we discovered it was a “hike in, hike out” situation. Thankfully they had wheelbarrow like carts to help you haul your gear in and out. It’s not a bad “hike” more of a walk but when you have a bunch of gear and coolers it kinda sucks making 5+ trips in the heat. One member of our group rented a tent and we will probably do that next year so we don’t have to haul as much stuff with us. They do have grills and a food prep section to use in a communal area too. Bathrooms and showers were clean. The campsites are right on the water so you can hang out in the water and the water isn’t too crazy. Overall we really enjoyed our time with h2o. They were great to us from the time we started planning our trip to when we left after spending the weekend with them. If you’re looking for a place to camp and raft for the weekend I highly recommend choosing this small, family owned business that employs some of the best rafting guides on the River.
