Our family of 10 had an AMAZING tour of Yellowstone’s Southern Loop with Maddy! She educated us on the park, we stopped at ALL the key sights, and she kept all our attention from our 7 year old to our 70 year old. We 100% would recommend Covered Ground Tours to anyone looking for a good time while seeing all the key sights & learning important information about Yellowstone! Thank you Covered Ground Tours for making our Yellowstone Family Adventure AWESOME!!

We only had one day at the park, and we wanted to make the best of it, so we decided to go with a tour company. We were so overwhelmed with the choices of companies and just by luck decided on Covered Ground. I AM SO GLAD WE DID. Maddie was professional and SO INFORMATIVE (but still friendly and never boring)… She knew all the best spots and timed everything perfectly. On a hunch, she turned around and stopped at a hill which ended up allowing us to see one of 80 grey wolves in 2.2 million acres of land. She explained the pros and cons of stopping at two locations to see the prismatic springs, and let us decide which we preferred (we chose a more off-the-beaten-path option and it did not disappoint). She even swung by a somewhat hidden post office (we would have never noticed it) so we could send our postcards from the park. We all learned a ton about thermo-geological mechanics as well as a little biology. The ride was also comfortable/spacious with tons of snacks, but the biggest benefit was Maddie’s expertise and friendliness. I have no idea how she memorized all that stuff and was able to think/plan/organize and explain it simultaneously. Anyway, don’t hesitate: go with Covered Ground.
