Glen was a tour guide and he was fantastic. We only had two days in the city and had decided to do a guided tour the first day. I think this is the best way to learn about the city and also then feel comfortable about traveling the subway by yourself on the following day. The only thing I would have changed about this tour is I would pass on the ticket to the one world observatory. Although the views are beautiful to the city I just believe it is another tall building also they were so pushy on selling their tablet at the One World Observatory. So the tour is great, our guide was wonderful. I would have rather gone to the 9/11 museum than One World. If you are short on time this is the absolute best way to see the city. We did not feel rushed at all, yes it is a lot of walking but Glen did a wonderful job at setting the pace and also gave us plenty of time for lunch along with some wonderful suggestions for us. Highly recommend this small group walking tour as opposed to others which were much larger. We had fun speaking with others in our group and learning about them as well.
Lyndsey was our tour guide and she was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable about all of the places that she took us without sounding like she had memorized a script. She made it a priority to make sure everyone had a good time and got the most out of the tour. There was a lot of walking but she also made sure we got a break when we needed one. I highly recommend this tour if you have never been to New York City. There is no way we could have covered that much ground in 1 day on our own.
Joel was an excellent tour guide. He is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone that is interested in the history and culture of New York City. Wonderful day!
