Read many reviews about my tour guide Tom before going on this tour and he did not dissapoint. I had 2 days in the city by myself so booked the tour hoping to fit as much is as possible. Toms knowledge of NY and the sights was second to none and gave some very good tips of must sees and things to do whilst in the city. Very enjoyable day! Thank you.

This is an excellent full day walking tour. Our guide Kernan was informative, knowledgeable, friendly and always very happy to answer any questions posed. We learned so much about New York. We decided to take this tour on our first full day in New York so that we'd be set up for the full week ....and we were not disappointed. We covered a wide area of New York as detailed in the tour itinerary. We particularly found using the subway helpful as Kernan demonstrated for us how to use the ticket machine and described how you might move around New York using the train in different areas of NY.
It is difficult to pick out what we liked best of all however amongst all our favourites were 9/11 memorial, South Pool, the Survivor tree, the Statue of Liberty, the ferry ride, St Patrick's Cathedral, One World Observatory and Grand Central Station, particularly the Whispering Gallery! There was nothing on the tour to dislike. The pace was good too. Not too slow and the group gelled well together as there were only eight of us.
Lunch too was a great experience and Kernan had considered the cost to us all for this venture ...always a very good point. Lunch was very enjoyable and value for money.
Instructions for meeting at George Cohan Statue were easy to follow and it was good to see all members of the group were there in well before the actual start of the tour.
It was a cold day, with snow on the ground despite being March 22, however the sun shone for us in the afternoon. It is most important that you are keen walkers for this trip and interested in the sights. You need good walking shoes or strong trainers and we needed plenty of layers to keep us warm with hat and gloves.
It was a great day that flew by. Thank you Kernan. An excellent tour!
