Jim was our tour guide and he was phenomenal. We met our group at 9:30 at Times Square, and Jim gave us an outline of what to expect for the day. He encouraged us to ask questions, take pictures, and take in the history of the city. Our group had fewer than 10 people, which made it really nice. Jim stopped us multiple times to give us information about the various places we were seeing. Initially, I was hesitant at signing up for this because it seemed like a lot of walking - but I am so glad we did it. We were in NYC from Friday - Sunday, and doing this tour allowed us to see almost every attraction we wanted to see.
If you sign up for this, plan on walking at least 6 miles. You'll ride the subway from Grand Central Station to the Financial District. Other than that, it is walking.
You will see - Times Square, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Original Saks 5th Avenue, NYC Library, Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, Radio City Music Hall, NYC Subway, NY Stock Exchange, Wall Street, Stone Street, World Trade Center (Freedom tower), World Trade Center memorial, Statue of Liberty, Staten Island Ferry.
I highly recommend this, and truly hope you are fortunate enough to have Jim as a tour guide!!
