Even though it was more of a 4.5 stars, I don't have a problem with bumping it in a favorable direction because we had a blast! Our tour guide, Dion, was VERY knowledgeable, and more important, he didn't mind answer questions at all. I had a couple when we were at Arlington Cemetery. Speaking of which, it might have been better to hand out that bottled water before we started that hike. Oh, and it is a LOT of walking. But once that leg of the tour starts, you'll start to feel a real appreciation for all of those who died for our country. It truly is amazing. We got to see the changing of the guard for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Kennedy family graves, and what the differences were between the white tombstones that you usually see on TV and the ones that most of us are accustomed to. From there, we see the Vietnam War Memorial, The MLK Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial (and Reflection Pool), drove by the White House (twice, in case you missed taking that first picture), the Washington Memorial, and a lot of other memorials that I can't think of because I don't feel like going through all of my pictures. Oh and before I forget, hats off to our bus driver who's more brave than I'll ever be. He navigated those wild streets with the precision of a brain surgeon. I would've mauled half of DC's citizens, if I they put me in the driver's seat. A couple of times I held my breath, but before the trip ended, he had my full confidence. Everyone on the Oleta team was very nice and professional. I would GLADLY tour again with them.
