À quoi s'attendre

La "visite à pied du quartier Gaslamp" est une promenade de 90 minutes dans l'un des plus anciens quartiers de San Diego, situé au cœur du centre-ville moderne d'aujourd'hui.

La visite commence par une brève discussion sur l'histoire de la Californie et de San Diego. Nous parlerons des débuts de la région en tant que rivale de "Old Town" en raison de son emplacement privilégié près de la baie. Vous apprendrez comment les premiers pionniers comme William Heath Davis et Alonzo Horton ont contribué à façonner l'avenir de la plus belle ville d'Amérique.

Le quartier Gaslamp présente une architecture restaurée de l'époque victorienne d'une époque où il était connu sous le nom de « The Stingaree ». En parcourant les 4e et 5e avenues, j'expliquerai l'histoire de ces bâtiments et partagerai de nombreuses histoires intéressantes en cours de route!

Cette visite est un excellent moyen pour les habitants de San Diegan et les visiteurs d'en apprendre davantage sur l'histoire de San Diego.
