T.C. was charismatic, knowledgeable and thoughtful. I left the Genteel & Bard History Walking Tour with a respect for Savannah that I did not have prior to hearing (and observing) the in-depth storyline of how current day Savannah came to be. The tour guide uses technology to enhance the experience and covers some of of the most important points of the region’s history. Highly recommend this tour!! Riley

My wife an I took the walking history tour. It was our first time visiting Savannah and we were excited to learn more about the history of the area. The tour was great. The stories were entertaining and informative. Our guides knowledge of the city history was amazing and the use of a large tablet to show pics and portraits helped bring the stories to life. The online process to register for the tour was simple and the notifications were helpful. I look forward to using this service again on future visits.

Tour started outside a busy cafe, greeted by TC and were given a headset each. TC was lovely an inclusive guide. He interacted with our teenage children and asked them question about Australia. This is the first tour we have ever been on with this particular type of headset set up. TC could be at the front of the group and the stragglers could hear everything he said through the headset. This meant you could walk at your own pace, walk away from the group to take photos and you didn't miss out on anything. He carried an ipad and instead of having to image what things might have looked like years ago, he brought it up on the ipad and showed it around. This made it very easy to engage with the history of Savannah. Before we knew it, 2 hours had passed and the tour concluded. Very engaging guide with a passion for history!
