Getting the full picture of the battle from tje towns perspective. Can you imaging 100,000 soldiers coming into town with wounded and dying. Horses pulling cannons. North entreaties and shooting at the south pursuers. The confederates came from the north and occupied the town for two days.

Enjoyed Terry's thorough knowledge of Gettysburg and all his trivia. It rained a good deal of the tour but he/we were prepared with our rain coats and still were able to walk the town and learn about various buildings, etc... The picture on the website that looks like a Civil War reenactment is misleading. There is none of that here.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and it was a great introduction to the battle of Gettysburg as it applied to the towns people especially. It was my first visit and it really oriented me to the area and sequence of events. Well worth it!
