On June 14, 2019, my family and I took the tour with tour guide Cindy, and it was definitely the highlight of our trip to Gatlinburg. The evidence that we got from this tour was both exciting and very, very unexpected.
One of the highlights of the tour was when we visited a church close to White Oak Cemetery, an area rumored to be frequented by the spirit of the Gatlinburg Witch. While at this church, we had time to investigate with equipment such as the EMF meter and the Ovilus. When we approached the red doors of the church, two of the girls on the tour got the words "hell" and "devil" on their meters. After hearing this, I went down and took a series of 3 photos of the doors and quickly left the area without reviewing them. I then proceeded up the hill towards the back end of the church and got the feeling of nausea and feeling heat across my face and body as soon as I reached the top of the hill. I definitely felt that something really did not like me, and that something horrible would happen if I did not leave the area immediately.
The next morning, I reviewed the photos and found a few interesting things staring back at me through the glass. If you notice, in the second photo in the upper left corner of the glass, there is an image of a ram's head that is not present in the other two photos. Also, in the last photo, notice the face of a man in the lower center of the second pane of glass. There is no doubt in my mind that I did encounter something paranormal, even though walking into this tour I was pretty skeptical.
This tour is the real deal. It not only provides information and background on the Gatlinburg area, but it also gives avid ghost hunters an opportunity to experience something that they will remember for a long time.
Cindy was wonderful and informative, and she kept the group together. You can tell she has a passion for the Gatlinburg area as well as the paranormal -- a real asset to the tour!
