Visite fantôme et hantise de Gatlinburg

Aperçu
Walk the back roads of Gatlinburg and learn about its haunted history and folklore on this nighttime tour. With a guide, you'll learn how you, too, can capture paranormal photos. Use ghost-hunting equipment like you see on tv to potentially communicate with ghosts along the way.
The tour is an outdoor walking tour as such there is plenty of room for social distancing and masks are optional, It is wheelchair and stroller accessible and service animals are allowed.
Unfortunately, due to the late completion time, the Trollys don’t run that late but we do offer free parking and of course, taxis and Uber, Lyft are available.
The walk is about one mile all on flat paved ground spread out over 2 hours with lots of stops so a messy relaxing walk but no places to sit or restrooms are available during the tour.
This is not a private tour groups can be as large as the upper 20’s in the busiest times but average in the high teens to low 20’s.

I really shouldn’t be the person writing this review, since I don’t believe in ghosts; and, I never watch any of the ghost hunter shows on TV. Nevertheless, Cindy did an excellent job of storytelling in a deliberate almost neutral perspective. She started the tour by distributing 6 ghost hunting devices for our group to share. From there her attention to supernatural detail was on full display as she described a suspicious suicide jump from the Space Needle; murder of the night clerk; and several other haunting episodes. Almost 2 hours in length, Cindy did a solid job.

On June 14, 2019, my family and I took the tour with tour guide Cindy, and it was definitely the highlight of our trip to Gatlinburg. The evidence that we got from this tour was both exciting and very, very unexpected. One of the highlights of the tour was when we visited a church close to White Oak Cemetery, an area rumored to be frequented by the spirit of the Gatlinburg Witch. While at this church, we had time to investigate with equipment such as the EMF meter and the Ovilus. When we approached the red doors of the church, two of the girls on the tour got the words "hell" and "devil" on their meters. After hearing this, I went down and took a series of 3 photos of the doors and quickly left the area without reviewing them. I then proceeded up the hill towards the back end of the church and got the feeling of nausea and feeling heat across my face and body as soon as I reached the top of the hill. I definitely felt that something really did not like me, and that something horrible would happen if I did not leave the area immediately. The next morning, I reviewed the photos and found a few interesting things staring back at me through the glass. If you notice, in the second photo in the upper left corner of the glass, there is an image of a ram's head that is not present in the other two photos. Also, in the last photo, notice the face of a man in the lower center of the second pane of glass. There is no doubt in my mind that I did encounter something paranormal, even though walking into this tour I was pretty skeptical. This tour is the real deal. It not only provides information and background on the Gatlinburg area, but it also gives avid ghost hunters an opportunity to experience something that they will remember for a long time. Cindy was wonderful and informative, and she kept the group together. You can tell she has a passion for the Gatlinburg area as well as the paranormal -- a real asset to the tour!

We did the walk with Larry as our guide. He did a great job, and was very informative. This is a fun tour. Even if you don't believe the "ghost stories" it is still cool to hear some of the dark history of Gatlinburg. I would definitely recommend!
