Ghost Stories and True Crime Walking Tour of the French Quarter

Aperçu
We couldn't decide if we loved ghost stories or true crime stories more, so we decided to do them both!

You can almost feel the history (and the spirits) as you walk through this 300 year old neighborhood and former Native American gathering place on the Mississippi River.

THIS is the sacred ground where centuries of unforgettable, intense characters have lived, loved, fought, celebrated, made music, and taken their last breaths. Energy like that does not fade away; in fact, it intensifies when we tell their stories as we walk through their streets.
We will share with you the stories of hauntings, murders, rituals, restless spirits, mischievous ghosts, and some things we just can't explain. Even skeptics love this tour, because everyone loves a good story!

The tour is 1.5 - 2 hours and covers about a mile in the world-famous French Quarter. Come after dinner and end in time for a night out on the town!

Joshua was our tour guide and he was great! He was super knowledgeable and gave us so much information about the history of the french quarter. He didn’t miss anything and I felt like the way he explained everything was way more than I thought we would get. Would highly recommend!

Thank you so much for this wonderful review and recommendation! Joshua knows the ghosts, but he also loves history! He’s a great guy to walk around the French Quarter with at night. I’m so happy that you chose us and I appreciate you taking the time to leave this review. Come walk with us next time you’re in town! Libby

Scott was the absolute best. By contrast, we attended a different tour 2 days previously with Witches Brew that was seriously awful despite costing almost twice as much (the guide swore at us and more than half of the group left that tour early), so the Lucky Bean tour was good by any measure and amazing by contrast. Scott knew far more background about all the sites we visited, sometimes would offer us choices for which historic event we wanted to know more about, was incredible about saying "the lore and rumors say this, but here's what we actually know" about everything, plus he was fun and personable to boot. I couldn't recommend this tour more highly.

Wow! Thank you so much for this glowing review! Scott is an excellent guide and those stories deserve to be told by an enthusiastic intelligent storyteller like Scott. We are so happy that we could sweeten your New Orleans experience after your disappointing evening. We have lots more stories to tell(and some more and rumors, too), so we hope that you and your friends will join us when y’all come for a reunion trip! Libby

Scott was amazing! Our group had been burned by a truly awful tour with another company the night before, so we were a little wary. But we had already paid, and decided we would just make the best of it. Let me tell you, *we* didn't have to make the best of anything, because Scott did it for us. Very friendly, with great stories and lively delivery. If you're looking for a tour in NOLA, this is the one!

Thanks for taking a chance with Lucky Bean Tours and for singing Scott’s praises! He is an excellent tour guide and storyteller, and just a pleasant person to walk with, especially in a neighborhood where there is an amazing story behind every single building. We really appreciate the recommendation, and we hope it brings us more fun and interested guests like you and your group. See you next time! Libby
