Grand Canyon du Yellowstone

Notre randonnée dans le Grand Canyon de Yellowstone combine l'une des attractions les plus spectaculaires du parc avec un voyage serein à travers les forêts, les prairies, les lacs et les mares de boue. Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

Our Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone hike combines one of the Park’s most spectacular attractions with a serene journey through forests, meadows, lakes, and mud pots. The day starts by enjoying Artist Point, one of the most phenomenal waterfall views in N. America. Then we set off on the trail for more awe-inspiring views of this uniquely colored canyon. We escape the crowds as our route continues through a fragrant forest that opens up to picturesque meadows and lakes. Finally, we reach a backcountry geyser basin, yet another zone. Here we enjoy the rare pleasure of viewing mud pots and fumaroles without the boardwalks. We'll find a pleasant spot to sit and fill up on a delicious picnic lunch prepared by your guide. This trail system offers the flexibility to make this hike anywhere between 3.5 to 8 miles, with a couple variations in between. All options will offer the highlights. Let your guide know what your goals are for the day and they will pick the best route for you.

This was a basecamp trip for 5 days. Some hikes were challenging, others were more for the exposure ţo Yellowstone. The guides were top tier, first rate. The food was very tasty and had great variety. The guests were all friendly and compatable. I recommend this trip and would juse them again.

I had booked a four days and three nights Yellowstone hiking trip with Wildland Trekking Company. Two days before the start of the trip the Yellowstone got flooded and was closed. I and many of my group members were already in the Jackson Hole area when the Yellowstone was closed. Wildland changed the trip to alternate location in the Wyoming range Cliff Creek Falls hike. It was a great location with a similar country as Yellowstone. This location provided great views and we gained around 3,000 feet of elevation. The trip was very well organized. The guide was very knowledgeable and experienced. The guide took a very good care of all the group members. He cooked very delicious and healthy meals. There was plenty of food for everyone.

We have a fabulous time with Adriana who took us on a hike of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. The tour started when she spotted a HUGE bull elk on the side of the road and stopped to point it out - and it ended with her pointing out the rainbow between the trees (see pictures). She was patient (we aren't savvy hikers) and so knowledgeable. She showed us fabulous sights that I know we never would have seen without doing this tour. She made us a fabulous lunch ~ and she noted on the paperwork that my birthday was that week and made us little bday cakes to celebrate! Thank you Adriana! You won't be disappointed with this tour!!
