Join us for a unique train ride and beautiful tour at Grand Canyon National Park. Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and proceed to the train depot to check you in; upon disembarking, you will reunite with your same guide after lunch. The remainder of your tour will be with your same guide and van along the South & East Rim Grand Canyon. After, your guide returns you to your hotel.

Start out traveling on the historic Grand Canyon Railroad for a one-way train ride northbound to Grand Canyon. Upon arriving at Grand Canyon Village, see your first stunning views of the canyon. There will be time for lunch on your own (lunch not included). Then rejoin your same guide and travel across the south rim, taking in the best views of Grand Canyon.

You will then travel through the Navajo Nation, stopping for souvenir shopping at historic Cameron Trading Post. Cancellation policy is 72 hours in advance for full refund.

Arizona State Law Requires All Children Eight Years and Younger to be in a Car Seat/Booster Seat. Guests are required to provide their own car seat/booster seat for their tour.
Minimum 4 guests required for tour to operate.
Departs Daily 7-7:30am and returns approximately 6:00-6:30 pm. (November/December: Departs 6-6:30a and returns 5-5:30pm) (Duration 11 hours)

Al was an amazing guide! Loved all the scenic vistas he took us to. He shared lots of great history and anecdotes along the way. I think the train ride didn’t necessarily enhance the excursion- it was pleasant enough but took an extra 1.5 hours out of the day.

Had an amazing day with Al Bubala as our guide! He arrived on-time and we only had four people on our tour. Al has a wonderful knowledge of the local area, the Grand Canyon and the local history! He was interested in how we wanted to view the Canyon and arranged for extra time at certain stops. We would highly recommend this tour and specifically request Al Bubala as your guide!

Having never visited the Grand Canyon before, we (and the at least one other couple on the excursion) naively expected from the tour’s description that most of this 11 hour tour was going to be aboard the train. We assumed that tracks had been laid alongside the rim of the Grand Canyon, lol. No. The train just takes you to the south rim of the canyon, that’s it. We could have done without the train ride which didn’t add much for us. The tour’s description should do a better job to make that clear. But we liked our guide and the views were of course spectacular. She took us to some excellent views along the south rim of canyon. A long day that started insanely early, but a good time overall.
