We really enjoyed this experience! My husband and I went back and forth on which car to ride in. We finally decided to go with the coach class - and I am so glad that we did! The windows were very large, the seats were comfortable with lots of legroom (this is coming from two very tall riders), and our host, Kathy with a "K" was lovely. Really - I don't know that it would be worth the extra money to be anywhere else. The ride to the Grand Canyon and back was quick, with a lot of entertainment and interaction. Our favorite part was Larry's performance - he had such a natural charm and interacted with the audience in a genuine way.
The only issue I had with this experience was the shilling of the photographs. At the start of the ride, you will be asked to take a photo with your family. On your return trip, the photos will be handed out (with no indication that they are for sale). You will get to hold onto these for about five minutes. My husband and I declined to be photographed, figuring that it was a sales pitch. We were disappointed to see that not only was this the case - but that riders were somewhat led to believe that these were complimentary, before being later being told the price. I think it would be much less skeezy if all of this was up front at the beginning and also less wasteful. For the price of the ride, it would be nice if a small photo were complimentary, and larger photos and holders being for sale.
