When you arrive at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel at 5 AM in the morning, having just experienced a long and sleepless night on the Amtrak train, you would think that the hotel would be a bit empathetic towards, say: coffee, tea, orange juice, sweet role, etc. Not to mention the fact that the on duty clerk was EXTREMELY unwilling to even attempt to help the 9 people who had just walked through their doorway. I will have to think twice before recommending the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel to friends or business associates.
