Title says it all - we did the Grand Canyon Hotel and Railway package and it was a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was well worth it, maybe skip the dinner buffet - food was what you would expect at a buffet, however not worth the price. The rest of the experience was amazing and would absolutely recommend to go First Class. We booked the Observation car on the way back, and would not recommend that - it was extraordinarily cramped (didn't book the deluxe observation car, just the regular one) for seat space and there was no place to store bags. We actually asked to be switched back to First Class just to be comfortable for the trip - views were great there too and we don't feel we missed out on anything by switching back to First Class. Train attendees very informative and friendly. Train Robbery act was a bit hokey and a play for money only, but I suppose for kids it may be worth it. Beginning Wild West show a bit hokey too, but again, for kids it is probably worth it.
