My sister and I recently took a day trip to the Grand Canyon while traveling in Sedona and only had about 4 hours to tour. We met Dora from Canyon Dave Tours and are so glad we did. Not only is she one of the most interesting people we've ever met, but she made the Canyon come to life for us and had us spellbound with stories of her various expeditions and camping trips in the Canyon. She worked as a Grand Canyon Park Ranger for 3 years and is also a geologist so she is more than qualified to teach, and teach she does, in an approachable, entertaining way. Highly recommend Dora and Canyon Dave Tours for getting the full experience of this amazing national treasure.

Richard Thayer was a great guide and host and picked us up in Flagstaff. He knew everything there was to know about the Grand Canyon like history, formation of, the rock and minerals involved in the making of and knew all the right places to go. I paid more attention to him than what I did to the teachers in school. I loved the little classroom he gave right there on the rim of the Canyon, we had more hands-on than being stuck in a tour bus. We even had the choice of going to dinner or seeing and feeling more of the Grand Canyon and with Richard being such a great guide we all voted to see and feel more of the Canyon and eat later we did with our own menu picks. The dining experience was fantastic at the Trading Post in Cameron,Arizona I want to go back and try the big taco next time that feeds 4 LOL. One final word, Go with Canyon Dave's Tours, It's The Tour of a Lifetime!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You very much Richard Thayer and Canyon Dave's Tours YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I had a wedding to attend in Jerome, AZ., so we thought we would spend a day at the south rim of the Grand Canyon. We decided to do a tour since our time was limited. Our hotel recommended Canyon Dave. Canyon Dave's wife took us around to all the major sites to be seen. She took us away from the crowds and was extremely knowledgable about the area and hiking trails, having done them herself. She was able to answer every question we had. If you want to come away from the Grand Canyon actually knowing something about it and how it occurred, this is the tour for you.
