FRAUD ALERT!! I am thankful I seen the sign that says no cameras and no cellphones before I paid $76 per person to get in to see Grand Canyon West because I would have been pissed the hell off spending that kind of money and couldn’t even take pictures. If you pay that amount of money you should be able to take as many pictures as you want. They are a rip off. Waste of trip.

Here is my experience on grand canyon west 1) Too costly for a visit. It costs $76 per person for entry. For a family of 6, it costed us $450 2) No cameras or phones allowed. They will charge $75 additional just for pictures 3) Grand Canyon looks like the same as Badlands in south Dakota and it is free for visitors 4) weather is so hot around 114 F in September. So can't stay long outside Overall 2/5 experience.

A rip-off. Overpriced and inefficient. A natural wonder should have free access, instead here you park your car away from the canyon. Pay around 80$ to get access + platform viewing. They make you wait for a bus that takes you to a place (where you could easily park yourself) where you get to take a few pictures, where they then remove all your belongings to allow you to access a glass platform, where they then charge you extra if you want a photo. The platform is a waste of money. It is a natural wonder and should neither be monopolized nor monetized. It is a shame, because the canyon in itself is impressive and has the potential to be a place worth visiting.
