La rive ouest du Grand Canyon a beaucoup à offrir et cette visite vous permet de tout voir ! En route vers le Grand Canyon, faites un bref arrêt pour une séance photo du barrage Hoover depuis le pont de contournement. Une fois au canyon, vous aurez 3 heures pour admirer de magnifiques vues depuis Eagle Point et Guano Point. Bravez la passerelle en verre qui s'étend sur 700 pieds au-dessus du sol du Canyon et à près de 4 000 pieds au-dessus du sol (disponible à l'achat). Cette visite comprend à la fois un petit-déjeuner continental léger et un déjeuner en option, ainsi que la prise en charge et le retour à l'hôtel dans la plupart des hôtels locaux.

Passerelle du Grand Canyon
Votre premier arrêt sera Eagle Point. Ici, vous pouvez sortir sur la passerelle en verre, une terrasse en verre en forme de U qui s'étend sur 70 pieds au-delà du bord du Canyon, vous offrant une vue complète de la chute de 4 000 pieds jusqu'au fleuve Colorado en contrebas. Les vues d'ici sont tout simplement spectaculaires et assurez-vous de repérer l'aigle dans le rocher en face. Toujours à Eagle Point se trouve un village amérindien qui affiche de nombreuses maisons tribales et dépeint le mode de vie des indigènes locaux et vous pouvez assister à des activités culturelles telles que des spectacles de danses indiennes dans l'amphithéâtre. Il s'agit d'une mise à niveau facultative que vous pouvez sélectionner lors du paiement.

De là, vous pouvez vous diriger vers Guano Point avec des vues encore plus spectaculaires sur le fleuve Colorado. The tour itself was great, including the tour guide. Unfortunately, the trip was a bit dampened by several very rude and inconsiderate people on the bus who were late, loud, continually pressing the emergency buttons, making loud phone calls after the guide repeatedly asked them to stop, etc., but that is not the fault of the tour guide or the company. The group of people attending the tour made the experience a bit frustrating, but it was overall a good time seeing the Canyon.

I was impressed how our tour guide kept us informed throughout the whole trip. We had people from all nationalities and cultures, and the bus was packed. She even went to search for the “three” who did not return to the bus on time.

The tour itself is what you would expect. You get on a bus, drive to the Hoover dam, get to see some Joshua trees along the way, and then you get about 2 1/2 hours at the Grand Canyon which is plenty of time. However, this tour is a “narrated tour” which I didn’t realize. Normally, this would be fine because I like to hear about the history of certain landmarks, roads, etc. But if you have Jackie as your tour guide, just know you won’t be able to hear anything for 2 days after your trip. She not only spoke the entire time you were on the bus, even starting at 7 AM, but she would scream into the microphone that was blasting through the bus. And definitely don’t try to speak with anyone in your group while she was talking, she would keep repeating “excuse me, cmon guys, listen to this, listen to this” and then go on a rant about something in her personal life. Tour guide made this trip unenjoyable. She was a nice woman but very rude when she wanted to be heard. Just rent a car and do it yourself

Hello James, so sorry that the tour was not quite what you expected. Our tour guide Jackie is traditionally very enthusiastic about conducting the tour; however, at this time it appears she was a bit too enthusiastic. We will speak with her about this matter and encourage her to be a bit more reticent about her presentation and to also discourage discussing her personal life.
