La rive ouest du Grand Canyon a beaucoup à offrir et cette visite vous permet de tout voir ! En route vers le Grand Canyon, faites un bref arrêt pour une séance photo du barrage Hoover depuis le pont de contournement. Une fois au canyon, vous aurez 3 heures pour admirer de magnifiques vues depuis Eagle Point et Guano Point. Bravez la passerelle en verre qui s'étend sur 700 pieds au-dessus du sol du Canyon et à près de 4 000 pieds au-dessus du sol (disponible à l'achat). Cette visite comprend à la fois un petit-déjeuner continental léger et un déjeuner en option, ainsi que la prise en charge et le retour à l'hôtel dans la plupart des hôtels locaux.

Passerelle du Grand Canyon
Votre premier arrêt sera Eagle Point. Ici, vous pouvez sortir sur la passerelle en verre, une terrasse en verre en forme de U qui s'étend sur 70 pieds au-delà du bord du Canyon, vous offrant une vue complète de la chute de 4 000 pieds jusqu'au fleuve Colorado en contrebas. Les vues d'ici sont tout simplement spectaculaires et assurez-vous de repérer l'aigle dans le rocher en face. Toujours à Eagle Point se trouve un village amérindien qui affiche de nombreuses maisons tribales et dépeint le mode de vie des indigènes locaux et vous pouvez assister à des activités culturelles telles que des spectacles de danses indiennes dans l'amphithéâtre. Il s'agit d'une mise à niveau facultative que vous pouvez sélectionner lors du paiement.

De là, vous pouvez vous diriger vers Guano Point avec des vues encore plus spectaculaires sur le fleuve Colorado. Vous pouvez parcourir le sentier ici qui mène au point culminant où la vue panoramique offre une vue majestueuse sur le fleuve Colorado ou simplement vous détendre et profiter du calme du Grand Canyon West tout en savourant un repas chaud avec une vue imprenable !

Our driver Charles was excellent. Our guide was rude, condescending, disrespectful. Treated us like children as if he was a teacher dealing with an unruly class. He cut people off. Said things that implied we wouldn’t understand when we asked questions. Then would apologize by saying I don’t want to insult your intelligence. When we wen to get our tickets scanned, the whole bus was confused about where to go. That is because our guide gave us poor quick too fast to understand directions. We waited 30 minutes pass the time we were supposed to depart because we were missing a couple who had gone on a helicopter ride. We found them cause we eventually decided to go at the checkpoint. I think they were there because that is what they thought our guide told them to do. Next time I will ask if Charles is the driver but I would tell people walk not run away if they get this guide again. Completely awful.

The Hoover Dam photo stop was great and perfectly timed to break up the long ride to the west rim. The bus was a large and comfortable transportation vehicle that provided AC and a bathroom. The West Rim had the skywalk which was a great experience but they do not let you take your own phones out there-must purchase pictures by one of their photographers. They do take great shots so if you want a memorabilia then that is the way to go.
