Standing in Kualoa Regional Park on Windaward Coast, you will experience a basalt islet in Kaneoha Bay with a shape of Chinaman’s Hat on one side, and magnificent mountains on the other. According to Hawaiian mythology, the island is formed from the remains of giant lizard or dragon’s tail that was chopped off and tossed to the ocean.

Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet)
The next stop is Tropical Farms of Hawaii. It is a little country store on the way to the North Shore. Here you will not only learn about the growth process and knowledge of macadamia nuts, but also sample the popular macadamia nuts and Kona coffee.

Kahuku Shrimp Farm is a “must try” check-out point in the North of Oahu. Hawaii has a very long history in shrimp farming. The all-year-round sunny weather provides a perfect growing environment for farm-raised shrimps. You are able to purchase the delicious cuisine from the local food stand.

Sunset Beach is known for big-wave surfing in the winter months. Many of the world’s premier surfing competitions, such as the Big wave Invitational in Memory of Eddie Aikau, are held here.
